We have had six Auto Sun blinds installed on our villa in Tarrawanna [Wollongong] over the past four years. We are having the exterior of the villa painted this week and wanted to remove the awnings temporarily. I remembered the installer saying that they had to be 'locked' before attempting removal but could not remember how to do so. We visited the
Unanderra store on Saturday 9/5/15. The young woman in charge was very helpful but there were no installers available to assist so she undertook to call on Monday morning.
At home I examined the awnings but could see no obvious locking mechanism. On a whim I rang the
Broadmeadow, Newcastle showroom where they gave me a number for an installer called Kevin who very conscientiously answered his work phone even on a Saturday. He was helpfulness itself and guided me through the locking procedure over the phone with me at the top of a ladder. Kevin did not have to do this on his day off and he spent considerable time guiding me through the process. His expertise and manner were much appreciated.
In this day and age it is rare and refreshing to receive complimentary advise and assistance. All your staff we talked to on Saturday at Unanderra and at Broadmeadow, but especially Kevin, were so helpful and knowledgeable. They are a great advertisement for your company.
We have had a long association with Kresta at our current and previous homes in Wollongong. In March 2014 we had a protracted, unpleasant experience with a representative who is no longer working for you. The matter left a lingering poor impression that has been more than wiped clean by your current staff. Congratulations on your staff selection and development procedures. Please pass on our thanks again especially to Kevin.
